Oodles Wok, a U.K.-based fast-casual Asian fusion restaurant, is getting ready to open a new location in Brampton at 6191 Mayfield Rd.

The company’s second Canadian location is scheduled to open on January 16, 2026, according to Insauga.com. The Brampton restaurant marks the chain’s first Canadian opening in the new year, following its Toronto debut in 2025. Entrepreneur Zaki Ullah will serve as the franchise owner of the Brampton location, according to his LinkedIn profile. Customers can expect Oodles Wok’s Indo-Chinese-inspired menu featuring made-to-order dishes in a fast-casual setting.

Oodles Wok was founded in 2010, with its first location opening in Leicester, England. The brand has since grown to around 50 locations across the United Kingdom, establishing itself as a recognizable fast-casual concept. In 2024, the company expanded internationally by opening its first overseas location in Dubai. Canada marks the brand’s second international market.

The Toronto location, which opened in 2025, introduced Canadian customers to Oodles Wok’s bold Asian fusion offerings. The upcoming Brampton restaurant signals continued growth in the Greater Toronto Area. Public posts from the brand suggest additional Canadian locations are already in development. The expansion aligns with a previously announced plan to grow the brand’s footprint internationally.

Oodles Wok’s menu centers on Indo-Chinese-inspired cuisine with customizable options. Offerings include wraps, wings, spring rolls, fried chicken dumplings, and bento boxes served with rice or noodles and a choice of protein. Dessert options include boba cheesecake and ice cream, rounding out the menu with sweet finishes.

“As a franchisee of Oodles Wok, I am proud to launch my first personally owned store — following the brand’s flagship Canadian location in Scarborough — marking the start of a growing franchise portfolio across the GTA and beyond,” franchisee Zaki Ullah said on LinkedIn. “At Oodles, we bring together bold Indo-Chinese flavors, fast-casual dining, and a vibrant customer experience. My focus is on operational excellence, brand consistency, and strategic expansion — with plans to develop multiple outlets in the coming years.”
