Oretta, a popular Italian restaurant known for its stylish take on classic regional dishes, is getting ready to open a new location in Toronto at 160 Front Street West.
The new location is set to open in early October 2025 and will move into Cadillac Fairview’s recently completed office tower, according to Toronto Life. Spanning over 8,000 square feet, the restaurant will feature multiple levels and seat up to 330 guests. Customers can expect Oretta’s signature blend of modern Italian cuisine, tableside presentations, and a dramatic dining atmosphere designed for both casual and full-service experiences.
This will be the company’s third location, following Oretta King West at 633 King Street West and Oretta Midtown at 2131 Yonge Street. The 160 Front Street space will echo the original’s design DNA, featuring 25-foot vaulted ceilings, a central curving bar, and a retractable indoor-outdoor patio with views of the CN Tower. A hidden projector screen will also allow the venue to host game nights and private events.
Oretta’s menu will feature house specialties, including paccheri alla Vittorio, made with Mancini pasta and four varieties of tomato, tossed tableside in a copper pan. Other signature offerings include Spaghettone Cacio e Pepe, prepared in a pecorino cheese wheel, Argentine beef cuts, lamb racks, and fresh-piped cannoli.
The new location will also operate as an all-day concept, serving a weekday cafe menu with bomboloni, focaccia sandwiches, and pastries. Beverage highlights include the slushy sgroppino, a mix of lemon sorbet, vodka, and prosecco, served as both an aperitivo and dessert.
Oretta’s expansion into the Financial District reflects its continued growth in high-density urban areas, pairing elevated Italian cuisine with an accessible “fine casual” style that appeals to a wide range of guests.
