Pür & Simple, a rapidly expanding Canadian breakfast and brunch chain known for its artisanal approach to classic morning fare, is getting ready to open several locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Founded in 2016 in Laval, Quebec, the brand has grown to over 50 locations across Canada, with plans to open its first U.S. restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, in mid-2025. While Pür & Simple is eager to expand beyond Canada, it will continue to grow its presence throughout the country, especially in the Greater Toronto Area. Known for its fresh, artisanal take on classic morning fare, the brand already operates in key GTA hubs including Toronto (Bayview Village, Dixon Road, Yonge & Eglinton, and Sherway Gardens), Mississauga (Square One and Heartland), Brampton, Oakville, Aurora, Burlington, and Cambridge.
As part of its aggressive growth strategy, new “coming soon” locations have been confirmed in Brampton at Gateway Boulevard, Mississauga at Meadowvale at 6986 Financial Drive, and Waterdown. Additional upcoming restaurants include Barrie North (opening July 1), North York (opening May 13), Brantford, and a new Cambridge (opening June 17). These expansions reflect Pür & Simple’s commitment to bringing creative brunch experiences to communities across Ontario, featuring vibrant interiors, fresh juice bars, and globally inspired menu items, such as Korean Sunrise Skillets and S’mores French Toast.
Franchise owner Mansoor Nishat already owns three locations, including two in Burlington and one in Mississauga. By the end of the year, the multi-unit franchisee is planning to open two additional locations. He tells What Now Toronto that he plans to open a new location in Brampton at 35 Gateway Boulevard in early September 2025. Another site, coming to Waterdown at 80 Dundas Street East, is expected to open in early October 2025, bringing the franchisees’ total number of units to five.
The Canadian breakfast and brunch chain is known for its innovative take on traditional morning dishes. The menu features unique items like the Kickin’ Kimchi Benedict, Korean Sunrise Skillet, and Red Velvet Pancakes, as well as gluten-sensitive options, along with smoothie bowls and specialty offerings like avocado toast and Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Each location offers a modern, French-inspired ambiance with open juice bars and airy interiors. In 2024, the brand added over 300 new jobs, growing its workforce to nearly 1,500 across Canada.
