Pür & Simple, a Canadian breakfast and brunch chain, is getting ready to open a flagship location in Toronto at 110 Harbour Street in the Harbourfront district.

The company’s new location will occupy 3,500+ square feet in the Shops at One York, next to Harbour 60 Steakhouse, according to 6ixRetail. While an exact opening date has not yet been announced, the flagship is expected to open in mid-2026 following city permit approvals. Franchise partners Rafi, Kawaljit, and Sandeep will operate the location, which will seat more than 130 guests and may include a small patio. Customers can expect Pür & Simple’s breakfast and brunch menu, including items like Korean Sunrise Skillets, S’mores French Toast, and avocado toast.

As previously reported by What Now Toronto, Pür & Simple has been expanding across the Greater Toronto Area, with openings earlier this year in Brampton, Waterdown, and multiple North York locations. The brand now operates 79 locations across Canada, up from 50 locations in early 2025, and employs nearly 1,500 people, adding more than 300 jobs in the last year.

The company was founded in 2016 in Laval, Quebec, by Derek Massad and Ritou Maloni and has since grown to include locations in Kitchener, Thunder Bay, Brantford, Winnipeg, Edmonton, and Sherwood Park. Upcoming Canadian openings include Waterdown, Sault Ste. Marie, Sydney, Nova Scotia, and additional locations in Bedford, LaSalle, Welland, Sarnia, St. Thomas, Woodstock, and Vancouver. More than 15 additional locations are currently under negotiation.

Pür & Simple positions itself in the “better breakfast” category, focusing on premium design, stronger service, and high-quality ingredients. Typical new locations cost around $1 million, compared with $800,000 for competitors. Site selection targets medium- to high-income communities based on household income, population density, and traffic patterns, reflecting the brand’s emphasis on hospitality first and food service second.

The downtown Toronto flagship will serve as a test case for premium breakfast in a competitive urban market. Being inside Shops at One York and PATH-connected to Union Station will provide foot traffic from office workers, residents, and visitors. This will be an excellent landing space for Pür & Simple as it continues to grow its presence in metropolitan markets.
