Rajdhani Sweets & Restaurant, a family-owned Indian vegetarian restaurant and sweets brand, is getting ready to open new locations in Milton and Waterloo.

The company lists the Milton and Waterloo restaurants as coming soon on its website, though the exact addresses and opening dates have not yet been announced. In addition to Milton, Rajdhani is preparing to open another location in Montreal and is continuing to grow in the United States, with a New Jersey restaurant already operating in Edison. While construction timelines have not been confirmed, the Milton opening is part of the brand’s broader expansion across Ontario and beyond. Customers can expect a fully vegetarian menu centered on traditional Indian meals, snacks, and homemade sweets.

Rajdhani Sweets & Restaurant began its journey in 2002 to share authentic Indian flavors with local communities. Over the years, the brand has grown steadily, opening numerous locations throughout Ontario and expanding into Alberta and the United States. The company has since adopted a franchise model, allowing it to scale while maintaining consistent offerings.

Today, Rajdhani operates in cities including Brampton, Mississauga, Pickering, London, Kitchener, Hamilton, Burlington, Niagara Falls, and Windsor. The Milton location will join a strong cluster of Rajdhani restaurants across the Greater Toronto Area and Southwestern Ontario. This will be an excellent landing space for the brand, given Milton’s continued residential growth and demand for family-friendly dining options. The addition further strengthens Rajdhani’s presence in suburban markets where vegetarian dining remains in high demand.

The restaurant is expected to follow the same service model as other locations. Rajdhani specializes in Indian vegetarian cuisine, offering North and South Indian dishes, savory snacks, and a wide range of traditional sweets. Menu highlights typically include chaat items, curries, dosas, thalis, and freshly prepared desserts. The concept also caters to vegetarian and vegan customers seeking familiar flavors at accessible price points.
