Ramona’s Kitchen, a microchain restaurant in the Greater Toronto Area known for its brunch-forward menu, is getting ready to open a new location in Leslieville at 913 Queen Street East.
The company’s fourth location is set to move into the former home of Leslieville Pumps General Store & Kitchen, according to Ramona’s Kitchen’s social media. While an opening date has yet to be confirmed, the restaurant is expected to introduce its wide-ranging comfort food menu, spanning brunch, lunch, and dinner, to the popular East End neighbourhood.
The brunch menu, a significant draw at existing locations, includes options such as the Schnitzel Benedict, Southwest Benedict with sweet potato “toast,” and the indulgent Crab Cake Benny, topped with ancho chipotle Hollandaise. Other offerings include the Banana Bread French Toast, Chicken and Waffles, and a variety of pancakes such as Double Chocolate, Blueberry, and Banana Nutella. For those seeking a lighter start, dishes like the Breakfast Bowl with smoked salmon and avocado or Avocado Toast with poached eggs are also available.
Beyond brunch, Ramona’s Kitchen also serves hearty lunch and dinner options, including Halibut Fish and Chips, Chicken Schnitzel Plates, and a robust burger lineup that features the Bacon and Brie Burger and the Deluxe Patty Melt. Guests will also find a range of sandwiches, including the Turkey BLT and Spicy Chicken Sandwich, as well as comfort staples like poutine and fresh salads. Many dishes come with tri-coloured home fries and mixed greens, staying true to the brand’s balanced comfort food approach.
Ramona’s Kitchen currently operates three locations in Thornhill, Leaside, and inside Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill. The new Leslieville spot will mark the company’s first entry into Toronto’s east side.
