Rock’N Deli, the fast-growing Montreal-style smoked meat chain, is bringing its signature halal smoked meat sandwiches to Square One in Mississauga.

A representative from the company tells What Now Toronto that this will be a corporate-owned location, expected to open in August 2025, marking the brand’s continued push into Ontario. Known for its authentic Montreal smoked meat, slow-cooked for 12 days, Rock’N Deli offers a diverse menu that includes smash burgers, poutines, wraps, salads, submarines, and more. The brand first launched in 1992 at a food court in Carrefour Laval and began franchising in 2015. Today, it operates over 13 locations across Quebec and Ontario.

In addition to the new Square One location, Rock’N Deli is set to open two more franchised stores in the coming months. The Rideau Centre in Ottawa is scheduled to open by the end of July, and a location at Espace Montmorency in Laval is planned for mid-September. All opening dates are approximate and subject to change based on construction timelines.

Rock’N Deli’s signature old-fashioned smoked meat sandwich is based on a 30-year-old family recipe. With growing demand and a loyal customer base, the brand continues to expand nationally. Its distinct flavor profile, quality ingredients, and strong franchise model have made it a standout in the deli restaurant space.

For those in the GTA, the upcoming Square One location will offer a taste of Montreal without requiring a trip out of town.
