San Vito, an Italian Bakery and Trattoria located at 110 Marine Parade Drive, is set to open its doors in early July 2025, bringing the authentic flavors of San Vito, Italy, to the vibrant shores of Marine Parade in Etobicoke.
Rooted in tradition and family heritage, San Vito isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to gather. Inspired by their grandfather’s passion for authentic Italian cooking, the team behind San Vito has created a warm and welcoming culinary destination where neighbours, friends, and food lovers alike can enjoy rich espresso in the morning, fresh baked goods throughout the day, and bold Italian wines with hearty pasta dishes by night.
“Our vision is simple: to bring a true taste of Italy to Toronto,” owner Julian Parentela says in a press release. “We’re baking the San Vito way—simple, fresh, and authentic—where every bite feels like home.”
The menu, crafted by Chef Marco, reflects over 20 years of hands-on culinary experience, balancing rustic charm with modern flair. Guests can enjoy a wide array of offerings, including pizzas, pillowy panuzzo sandwiches, savoury hot table favorites, and delicate pastries—all made with fresh Italian ingredients.
Menu highlights include signature panuzzo such as La Paradiso (Mortadella, pistachio cream, stracciatella) and L’italiana (Prosciutto di Parma, mozzarella di bufala, basil pesto). Stone-baked pizzas, such as the Diavola with spicy Calabrese salami and hot honey, or the Tartufata with black truffle cream and arugula, offer bold flavors with every bite. Guests can also enjoy homemade pastas and hot table dishes, including Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Ricotta Gnocchi, and Eggplant Parmesan. For something sweet, the bakery serves artisanal pastries and cakes—tiramisu, cannoli, zeppole, social cakes, and almond cookies—baked fresh daily with premium ingredients.
San Vito also features a curated selection of wine and spirits available after 11:00 AM for dine-in guests. Enjoy a crisp Prosecco by the glass, sip a bold house red or white, or explore their list of imported Italian wines such as Chianti, Barolo, and Pinot Grigio, chosen to complement the rustic fare perfectly. Classic Italian cocktails, including the Aperol Spritz, Negroni, and a chilled Limoncello, evoke the essence of the Amalfi Coast. Beer lovers can enjoy Italian favourites like Peroni and Moretti, alongside local craft selections.
