The District Padel & Pickleball Club, a new racquet sports facility, is getting ready to open its flagship location in Toronto.
The Toronto club will serve as the brand’s first location and operational hub, with additional sites planned for Cancún and Puerto Vallarta, according to the company’s website. The Toronto location is expected to open in Winter 2026. While an exact address has not yet been announced, the company says the facility will be located minutes from major highways and accessible to players across Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Etobicoke, Brampton, and Burlington. In addition to courts and training programs, the space will include a social lounge and snack bar designed to give members a place to gather before and after matches.
Unlike traditional sports facilities that focus solely on gameplay, The District is incorporating food and beverage options directly into the club experience. The on-site snack bar will offer light fare and refreshments intended for casual dining between matches or during events. The adjoining lounge space is designed to support social gatherings, league nights, and tournaments, creating an environment that extends beyond court time.
The club will feature eight super panoramic padel courts and seven pickleball courts, along with modern changing rooms, showers, and lockers. Programming will include coaching under the M3 Methodology through the M3 Padel Academy framework, as well as exhibitions, leagues, and community events. A High Performance Junior Academy is also planned as part of the long-term development strategy.
Retail will also play a role in the overall experience. The District is the exclusive distributor of Adidas padel and pickleball equipment in Canada and will operate an on-site PadelGo Pro Shop. The shop will carry rackets, balls, apparel, and accessories, allowing members to purchase gear before or after play.
As the brand’s benchmark location, the Toronto club is intended to set the standard for future expansion. By combining competitive courts with a dedicated lounge and snack bar, The District is positioning its first Canadian location as both a sports venue and a social destination for the growing padel and pickleball community.
