THG’s Hot Chicken, a popular Toronto and Mississauga-based hot chicken brand, is preparing to open new locations in Brampton, London, and Milton.
The first location, at 13 Fisherman Drive #15 in Brampton, will be opening soon in the former home of Chicken Master, according to Insauga. This will be the company’s fourth location, following existing spots in Scarborough, Mississauga, and Waterloo. While no official opening date has been announced, the team is finalizing preparations. Customers can expect THG’s signature chef-driven menu, which includes Nashville Hot Sliders, Spicy Chicken Deluxe, Dirty Bird Fries, and Dirty Mac and Cheese.
The Brampton site will offer extended hours, Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. Future expansion includes a London location later this year and a Milton store planned for 2026. These moves continue THG’s goal of bringing its signature fried chicken to underserved areas in the Greater Toronto Area.
THG’s Hot Chicken was founded in 2011 by Chef Aleem Syed, who began the concept as a food truck in Scarborough. Over the years, the brand has grown into a multi-location business known for its halal hand-slaughtered chicken and community-oriented approach. Chef Aleem trained at Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa and worked at top Toronto fine-dining restaurants, including Canoe under Michael Bonacini, before an accident in 2008 left him paralyzed from the waist down.
Menu highlights include Hot Box Combos, sandwiches, wings, tenders, mac and cheese, Dirty Bird Fries, and rotating sauces such as Comeback Sauce, Smokey BBQ, and Blacken Ranch. Seasonal and customizable options remain a key focus, keeping offerings fresh and approachable for families and hot chicken fans alike.
THG’s Hot Chicken emphasizes community connection at each location. The brand’s combination of bold flavors, generous portions, and late-night hours has made it a destination for both casual meals and group dining. The upcoming locations aim to carry that same energy into new neighborhoods, giving fans more ways to enjoy Chef Aleem’s creations.
