Wild Wing Restaurants, a Canadian sports-bar restaurant specializing in chicken wings, ribs, and casual dining, is getting ready to open new locations in Port Elgin at 672 Goderich Street and in Shelburne at 303 Col. Phillips Drive, Unit 109-110.

While an exact opening date has not been announced, both of the new restaurants are currently listed as “coming soon” on the company’s website. What is known is that the Port Elgin site will replace Chester’s Bar & Grill Co. When these locations open, customers can expect the full Wild Wing menu, including signature wings in over 100 flavors, ribs, chicken tenders, burgers, sandwiches, poutines, and shareable appetizers. Both locations will offer dine-in, takeout, and delivery options.

Wild Wing was founded in 1999 in Sunderland, Ontario, and has grown into one of Canada’s fastest-growing family-friendly sports restaurant chains. The company expanded rapidly after being acquired by Clark McKeown in 2015 and now has more than 100 locations across Canada, from British Columbia to Quebec. Each restaurant is independently owned and franchised by local entrepreneurs, with support to tailor each restaurant to its community.

The Port Elgin and Shelburne locations are designed to provide a casual sports-bar atmosphere, featuring large screens and seating options for groups and game nights. Wild Wing emphasizes Canadian-raised chicken wings and sources ingredients locally where possible. The restaurants are intended to appeal to families, groups of friends, and sports fans seeking a blend of food and entertainment.

The menu highlights include wings in sizes Single, Double, Triple, Foursome, Maverick, and Cowboy, along with Big Game Bundles for groups. Additional offerings include ribs, rib and wing combos, chicken tenders, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, fries, specialty poutines, appetizers like mozzarella sticks and mac & cheese bites, and desserts. Kid-sized meals include wings, tenders, pizza, and mini corn dogs.

This expansion continues Wild Wing’s growth across Ontario and marks the brand’s entry into Saugeen Shores and Shelburne. Both locations will join more than 100 existing restaurants nationwide, providing access to the chain’s full menu of wings, comfort foods, and family-friendly dining experiences.
