The featured artists at the Denver Chalk Art Fest include Dawn Wagner, known for her portraiture and contemporary compositions. Julie Kirk Purcell, who is an acclaimed street painter, and Denver-based Chris Carlson, the 3-D chalk artist and mural painter, are also featured.
Steve DeOrio, who has been featured at the festival the past five years and Mark Hollenbeck, who is also has also been featured in the past at chalk festivals in Denver and other cities, will also be returning.
