Xin Ding Dumpling Seeking New Location

A new dumpling restaurant may be coming soon to the Sellwood-Moreland area.

The listed applicant Ming Liang recently put in a liquor license for Xin Ding Dumpling at 7135 SE Milwaukie Avenue, where Dairy Hill Ice Cream currently operates. The applicant is affiliated with the current location at 71 SW 2nd Avenue. As of now, there is no estimated opening date.

The current restaurant serves kung pao chicken, orange chicken, lunch beef, lamb, seafood and tofu dumplings. They also have dim sum, soup, noodles, chow mein, and beverages like soda. A menu for the new location will be released soon.

Along with Xin Ding Dumpling House, other options in the city include Dough Zone Dumpling House, Hungry Dumpling House, Bing Mi, dodo dumpling and Din Tai Fung. Many of these restaurants can be found near downtown, and the east side of the city also has a number of dumpling options.

The business applied to operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. Included in the application was outdoor dining hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
