After seven years of operating in Bay Ho, Isabella Artisan Pizzeria & Craft Beer Garden is relocating to Clairemont Town Center. The move could happen as early as March, according to the restaurant’s website.

Owner Gary Zendell confirmed the news in an email to What Now San Diego Friday but did not immediately comment on why the restaurateur was picking up and moving the rooted pizza joint. “We’re excited for the move,” Zendell wrote.

In addition to the restaurant, when Isabella reopens in space formerly home to Enzo’s Cucina Italiana, at 4705 Clairemont Drive, Suite A, it will come complete with a tasting room for San Diego-based Little Miss Brewing.

“The odds have been stacked against Isabella from the beginning,” the restaurant’s website states regarding the upcoming move. “While many restaurants have failed during these difficult times, we have thrived. We remain eternally grateful for all the love and support you have shown us.”

An invitation to the “re-opening” of Isabella is expected to be shared on Facebook for patrons wanting to attend.
