If you live in San Marcos and you’re a fan of a good pie, pizza pie that is, you’ll be happy to learn a new pizzeria is coming to town.
Owner Adam Kelly recently signed a lease for a property in Campus Marketplace, at 342 S Twin Oaks Valley Road. The restaurant will take over the roughly 2,500 square foot space on the first floor this June and find itself positioned between Starbucks and Great Clips where Flippin’ Pizza once operated.
Due to the convenient location of Campus Marketplace, Pizza Bar will be only a stone’s throw from California State University-San Marcos, and according to the Campus Marketplace website, an easy distance for North City’s residents as well.
Kelly was unavailable for comment at the time of this article, so we’re still wanting to hear back on an opening date. In the meantime, keep an eye out next time you’re shopping at Campus Marketplace or grabbing a coffee to go, and of course, check back with What Now San Diego for updates.
