Picture freshly ground corn being ground then kneaded into dough to be made into nothing other than freshly pressed and griddled tortillas. Nothing compares to the real thing and those who frequent Tortilleria Las III Americas know this.

The tortilla factory Tortilleria Las III Americas is known for their freshly made tortillas. “We make our products daily with fresh products and no preservatives added,” according to their official Facebook page. Customers are able to choose from “corn, flour, and whole wheat” tortilla options.

Apart from their fresh and delicious tortillas the store also serves specialty dishes from time to time such as tamales or barbacoa on the weekends. Recently, they served birria tacos, burritos, and baked birria potatoes.

According to a recent permit filing, it looks like the beloved tortilleria is up for an update. According to the filing, the 2690 S Federal Bldv location is set to renovate the kitchen and interior.

Make sure to follow them on Facebook for updates, especially if you would like to keep up with their weekend specials.
