A new Starbucks drive-thru located at 3570 Gateway Park Blvd, on the corner of Truxel Road, has begun construction. The construction is overseen by Engstrom Properties and is anticipated to open in March 2024.
The Natomas site is a new addition to several Starbucks locations coming to the Greater Sacramento area, including Fairfield and Folsom Ranch. According to plans filed, the new Starbucks will occupy a 2,405-square-foot building and will include a patio and EV charging. There are also three other Starbucks locations less than a mile away from the site. “Starbucks is always looking for great locations to better meet the needs of our customers,” the company said in a statement. The company’s spokesperson also said the new store will not affect the operation of the existing Natomas locations.
Engstrom Properties has developed Starbucks sites in Rocklin and Sacramento. The firm’s portfolio also includes Nugget Plaza in Roseville, Laguna Promenade in Elk Grove, and Oak Tree Plaza in Davis. Currently, the crews are removing existing concrete, concrete curbs, and a small area of landscaping from the site.
