It was previously reported that Gelato Cimmino was in search of a second home and now it seems that they’ve found the perfect spot in downtown Gilbert. Owner Mario Cimmino confirms that his second store will open at 339 N. Gilbert Road in the first quarter of 2022.
The space is currently being remodeled to reflect Gelato Cimmino’s core values, which is to bring Arizonans a taste of Italy where families can relax and enjoy a specific moment in time together. Gelato Cimmino uses only the highest quality milk and natural ingredients sourced directly from Italy in their flavors.
The second location will feature plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, as Gelato Cimmino is sure to see plenty of foot traffic in the heart of downtown Gilbert’s Heritage District. Cimmino also says the lot right outside his shop will have a 40-foot trailer that will serve as a taco stand and bar.
