Back in August, What Now Phoenix reported that local popup Hope’s Frybread was in the market for its first brick-and-mortar location. Luckily, the business has finally found its new home at 144 S. Mesa Drive, according to a recent announcement via Phoenix New Times.

Owner Hope Peshlakai confirms the good news, adding that they look forward to opening by March 2022. A deal on the 2,000 square-foot space was just locked in, after a scramble to find a new location when plans on their first location fell through.

Thankfully, Hope’s Frybread is back on track to establishing a permanent spot for Mesa locals to satisfy their frybread cravings. Peshlakai suggests that they’re even thinking about expanding their menu now that they have a bigger kitchen to work out of. There will be plenty of indoor and outdoor seating as well.

Until the new location opens, there is a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for the new restaurant. Hope’s Frybread also continues to host popups in order to serve their hungry customers. Stay tuned to their Instagram and Facebook pages for updates.
