A new restaurant called Big’s American Sports Bar & Grill is coming to Peoria, according to a pending liquor license found in state public records. Debuting at 16550 N. 83rd Ave. at the P83 shopping and entertainment complex, Big’s Peoria is an offshoot of its California cousin, Big’s Fullerton.
Representatives for Big’s have confirmed the move to Peoria, telling What Now Phoenix that an opening is still a few months out as they work through city licensing and permitting. While that was all they could divulge by the time of publication, one might guess that Big’s Peoria will be similar in concept to Big’s Fullerton.
Founded in 2001 a block away from Cal State Fullerton, Big’s welcomes students and professionals alike to hang out and enjoy a variety of beers on tap, a solid selection of wines, plus a kitchen specializing in American comfort classics such as hot wings, burgers, and steaks. The “biggest” draw to the restaurant is their sports packages, which air must-see sporting events and games for avid fans.
Considering that Big’s new Peoria location is a hot spot for MLB Spring Training and a brief drive down Loop 101 to State Farm Stadium, the restaurant is sure to be a hit with Diamondbacks and Cardinals fans in the West Valley.
