Slime Co. is bringing its build-your-own slime bars to Chandler Fashion Center and Arrowhead Towne Center. Founder Christina Mahe told What Now Phoenix that she hopes to open the Chandler store this weekend, with Glendale following sometime in December.
The Chandler shop will be upstairs near Scheels at 3111 W. Chandler Boulevard. The Glendale location is planned for 7700 W. Arrowhead Towne Center. Neither store has a confirmed opening day yet.
At the slime bar, visitors choose a base and decide how their creation will look, smell, and feel. More than 50 scents and over 100 toppings are available, including glitter, charms, and crunchy add-ins. Before leaving, guests name their slime and label the container to take home. The experience is designed for ages three and older.
Mahe’s son, Logan, inspired the business. The first time he tried slime, he put his iPad aside and played for two hours.
After months of buying slime, Mahe began making it with him at home. Friends and family soon joined their slime-making playdates, and their home became known as “the slime house.”
“As an Arizona native, opening our first Slime Co. location in Chandler is truly a full-circle moment,” Mahe said in the press release. “What began as a fun sensory activity with our son has grown into a brand that’s bringing creativity, connection, and hands-on experiences to families across the country.”
In Chandler, the company also plans to host birthday parties and group celebrations. Bookings include a reserved party table, a dedicated host, custom slime for each guest, and a special slime for the guest of honor. Larger groups can reserve the entire store.
Slime Co. is planning a grand opening celebration for Chandler in December. Details about this event and more information on the Glendale debut will be announced later.
