A new business called Shawarma Chalet is on its way to opening later this month in Sunny Brae. This news was first seen in Mad Union River. The new business will take over the former La Trattoria and Crocodile Café location at 30 Sunnybrae Center.
State registration information suggests that Shawarma Chalet is owned by Rogelio Luna, who also owns local repairing business called Luna Tooling & Repair. Luna is currently hiring for all positions on Craigslist for Shawarma Chalet as he gets closer to opening. The new restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a grab-and-go Mediterranean menu. According to business records, Shawarma Chalet will have a sit-down area and a to-go counter.
Shawarma Chalet will join existing eateries and cafes in the center, including Coffee Break Drive Thru & Cafe and El Chipotle Mexican & American Food. What Now Sacramento reached out to Luna but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage.
