Armed with experience working in a local coffee shop and a dream, owner Analiece Patterson has taken the next step and is now opening Life Perks Coffeehouse in Colorado Springs.

“I’m pretty excited. I’ve never started a business before, and it’s something that I know I’m going to love and enjoy,” Patterson told What Now Denver.

Life Perks Coffeehouse could open by the end of January at 1805 De Paul St. They’ve been busy renovating the space and have to finish up a few things before getting approval from the local health department to open for business.

The nearly 2,000-square-foot space includes indoor seating, a patio, and a room for meetings or private events held during daytime hours. “I can also rent out the whole space if somebody wants to use it for a private event, maybe a wedding reception,” Patterson said.

Life Perks Coffeehouse will offer signature lattes and cold brews with different flavors, and the food menu will include pastries at first with more items expected to be added in the future. “I’m also going to have tea and steamers, regular coffees, Americanos—pretty much your basic coffeehouse drinks.”

Patterson wants Life Perks Coffeehouse to be a place where people can meet with friends and family, or meet new people, to grow relationships.
