BUA Thai + Sushi has been listed for sale. The TOWN Brookhaven eatery, at 705 Town Blvd NE, Q330, is asking $99,000, according to a sales listing this week from the Shumacher Group.

BUA is still open and operating, the listing confirms. “Please do not make any attempt to contact staff, management, landlord, and/or ownership,” according to the listing. “Due diligence and inspections will be provided upon request.” Ownership on Saturday did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.

The 3,847-square-foot restaurant has been open for nearly nine years having first debuted in December 2011. At the time of its opening, ownership spent $750,000 on its buildout. Last year, BUA brought in $1,710,859 in gross sales and its monthly rent is $14,525.72. A new owner could “keep or convert” the second-generation space.

There has recently been an influx in longstanding restaurant spaces hitting the market. Just last week YEAH! BURGER announced it would not reopen in Virginia-Highland and that the contents of the restaurant were available for purchase, including access to the lease.

  • Damn! I love me some Bua, will be sad to see them go. Town Brookhaven is on the verge of looking like a wasteland, and I doubt that Bua will be the last one to fold up shop.
