After nearly a year of anticipation, a fast-casual Asian concept is preparing to feed hungry Loudoun residents eager to branch out beyond burgers and fries. CHIKO, which serves Chinese and Korean cuisine, has announced its opening date-and it’s close enough to taste, reports local media outlet The Burn.

The unusual restaurant will be opening as a part of the Cascades Marketplace at 21000 Southbank Street. CHIKO will be rolling out the welcome mat to new patrons on February 7, 2025.

CHIKO has made a considerable splash in the DMV dining scene since its founding in 2017. The small but mighty chain has grown its roster to four open and operational locations, with the Sterling storefront bringing it up to a very respectable five. Residents eager to get a sneak taste of what the eatery offers can check out one of its  homes in Capitol Hill or Dupont in DC, Shirlington in Virginia, or Bethesda in Maryland. The brand currently has one West Coast location in Encinitas, California.

CHIKO is the brain-child of The Fried Rice Collective, a collaboration between James Beard nominated chefs Scott Drewno and Danny Lee. The restaurant strives to “pair modern cooking techniques with traditional Chinese and Korean flavors.”
