The next few years will prove particularly exciting for DMV pastry fanatics. Paris Baguette, a rapidly expanding chain, has big plans for the region, and What Now DC has the scoop-straight from COO Nick Scaccio.

Scaccio explains that the region will soon be getting a bumper crop of storefronts, in addition to the 10 that are currently open. He states: “We have another 4 coming this year and a good amount coming beyond this year that are part of multi-unit operators deals.”

The region has proven very welcoming to the concept, and Paris Baguette hopes to continue the strong relationship between brand and customers.  “We are really excited about the market as a whole.” says Scaccio.  “We were received extremely well and the operators had great experiences in Virginia. We had continued demand from local consumers. We are continuing to open up the various markets for continued interest.”

Scaccio says that Paris Baguette continues to have its eyes firmly focused on the DMV area. “We’re looking to continue to open throughout the DMV market as time goes on with the right operators representing Paris Baguette for many years to come.”

While 10 storefronts is a strong opening salvo, it’s only the beginning for Paris Baguette. Scaccio, speaking of future markets to be fed, states: “We seek continued expansion in North Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Annandale, Alexandria, Fredericksburg, and Crofton, Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Silver Spring, Columbia, National Harbor, Fulton, White Marsh, and Bel Air.”
