A mobile coffee and beverage bar service, Bar9ine, is working on opening its first brick-and-mortar location in Old Sacramento. The eatery and outdoor bar will fill 1100 Front St., Suite 140, near the Waterfront. The space 140 was previously occupied by Milk House Shakes and has remained vacant since the business closed during the pandemic. This news was first seen in the Sacramento Business Journal.
Stan Zubku founded Bar9ine in 2022 as a mobile coffee cart. He then expanded the configuration to include another nine-tap beverage tower for beer, seltzers, champagne, wine and nonalcoholic drinks. The mobile units have served corporate events, weddings, birthday parties, as well as pop ups.
Zubku told the Business Journal that the brick-and-mortar location is slated to open in December with a “walk-up counter where customers can order food and drinks.” The mobile bars will continue to operate afterward. The physical location is part of the Old Sacramento Public Market and will have patio seating but no indoor seating.
