An award-winning Italian gelato shop is coming to Mount Pleasant.
Cremino Gelato & Caffè will open its first U.S. location at 901 Warrior Way, Suite 104, in the same Carolina Park strip center where Crafthouse North is also setting up shop.
Lawrence Ramos, who founded the original Cremino in Vitoria, Brazil with his wife, Isabela, will manage the new Mount Pleasant location.
Ramos told What Now Charleston that the menu will feature an array of 24 gelato flavors, along with a selection of hot and cold coffee beverages, Italian-style paninis, and decadent desserts. While the offerings will differ slightly from those available in their Brazilian stores, patrons can expect the same authentic, high-quality flavors.
