David Pittman and Landon Bonner are opening up their second location of Peach Coffee Roasters after its success in Johns Creek. Peach Coffee Roasters’ second home will be in the Henderson Commons shopping center in Alpharetta

Peach Coffee Roasters’ new location — at 735 North Main St. — will be set up a little differently, having a drive-thru option, as per a permit request. “This conditional use permit is requested to allow a drive-thru at this location which is essential for my business to succeed, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic,” Pittman wrote in a letter directed to the Henderson Commons community.

Like with many in the world of hospitality, Peach Coffee Roasters’ biggest obstacle has been the novel coronavirus. According to its website, “Peach Coffee Roasters is finding creative ways to navigate through this period of uncertainty.  Please know that every purchase you make is keeping each team-member employed so they can continue to serve you amazing coffee.”

On top of roasting its own coffee beans, Peach Coffee Roasters offers “subscriptions” of 3 months, 6 months, and yearly — in which customers will receive packaged coffee blends to brew at home. Peach Coffee Roasters is expected to sit before the Alpharetta Planning Commission on November 5 and the Alpharetta City Council on November 16 to present its case for obtaining the conditional use permit.
