Multifamily Permits Filed For 288-Unit Project In Scotts Crossing

New multifamily project permit applications have been filed with the city of Atlanta this week for the construction of Reserve at Hollywood, a 288-unit multifamily project in Northwest Atlanta.

The project, which is slated for an 11.8-acre lot in the Scotts Crossing neighborhood, is being led by Ohio-based MVAH Partners, an affordable multifamily housing developer that has worked in over 15 states.

Plans call for 108 one-bedrooms, 156 two-bedrooms, and 24 three-bedrooms spread across three five-story, wood-framed buildings. The project is characterized as an affordable housing project, but permit filings don’t show at what area median income units will be restricted.

About 20 miles west, MVAH is also working on Reserve at Douglasville, a project its website shows will open in 2022.

The Reserve at Hollywood will also offer an amenity package including a pool and a 4,091-square-foot clubhouse building, which itself will include a fitness room, offices, and kitchen, among other features. It will also include 317 parking spaces.

Another Ohio-based company, BDCL Architects, designed the project, which permit filings indicate will cost almost $30 million to build.

The land itself is owned by foreign limited liability company Jaber Properties and is just north of two other multifamily properties: The Manor at Scott’s Crossing and Dwell @ The View.
