Fast-casual Mediterranean joint CAVA is officially opening its first Georgia location in North Buckhead this Friday, June 25th. The new restaurant will occupy the space at 3655 Roswell Road, formerly Zoës Kitchen.

The restaurant will open two days early, on June 23rd, for North Buckhead residents only, and has partnered with The Giving Kitchen, which helps provide emergency assistance and financial support to food service workers, to serve free meals to community members during those days.

In addition to CAVA’s first location in Buckhead, the restaurant is planning to open fourteen locations across the Peach State in the coming months.

CAVA has a similar vibe to Chipotle, only instead of burritos and guacamole, it does pitas and tzatziki. CAVA specializes in build-your-own Mediterranean bowls and pita sandwiches, with tons of vegetarian options, like roasted sweet potato, falafel, and eggplant, as well as Mediterranean-style meats, including lamb meatballs, harissa honey chicken, and braised lamb.

But the real gems at CAVA are the toppings. Lentil tabbouleh, fire-roasted corn, cabbage slaw, pickled onions, and tomato and cucumber salad are just a few of the toppings you can load onto your bowl or pita. Honestly, the only problem you’ll run into at CAVA is that there might be too many options to choose from. Like us, you’ll probably end up piling way too much food onto one meal. But hey, word on the street is that Mediterranean diet is the best one out there, so eat up.
