Popular ramen spot Salaryman is opening a second location. The restaurant, known for its Japanese and Korean dishes, is expected to open in the Toco Hills shopping center, according to the AJC. The restaurant’s original location opened in 2019 in East Lake.
The restaurant gets its name from the Japanese term referring to white-collar workers who are unconditionally loyal to their corporations. Atlanta-based Korean Wives Hospitality Group is the team behind Salaryman, diner-style Japanese restaurant Ramen Station, and Krog Street Market’s Suzy Siu’s Baos.
The three restaurants have become wildly popular for their authentic Asian dishes and unique environments, and have received nods from multiple media outlets.
Salaryman co-owner Michael Lo declined to comment when What Now Atlanta reached out for more details about the new location, but word on the street is the restaurant is expected to open in early 2022. Stay tuned for more details as we continue to get the scoop.
