Peach Valley Café, known and revered by its patrons, is planning to establish a bigger home for the first ever location, according to the owner Eric Holm, who bought the brand with his wife Diane in 2019.
The company has been expanding under Holms new leadership. In March of last year, they opened a unit in Mount Dora, and they have plans for a Maitland location, which we told you all about last April here. There are a total of seven locations open now, according to the website.
Directly adjacent to the Heathrow location at 1210 International Pkwy is a shuttered Panera Bread, where the expanded Peach Valley Café will appear.
Holm spoke with What Now on Thursday to share about the plan: “we think we can get it done in the next nine months. We’re in the planning stage, drawing the plans now, and we’ve got to get the permits.”
The move into the old Panera will double the size of the restaurant, making it the largest Peach Valley Cafe. The current restaurant is 2,650 square feet, the new location will be 5,600 square feet, according to Holm. They will not close the restaurant until they can swap over to next door.
Holm is an active restaurateur in the area, with a portfolio including Golden Corral, Marriott, Peach Valley Café and Colt’s Pig Stand BBQ.
