Well well well, it looks like Twiggy To Go is about to start offering Twiggy To Stay.

Twiggy To Go was founded by Chef Mitchell London and his business partner Thomas Mikolasko. When the pandemic first started two years ago, Chef London began offering deliveries of prepared food from a Tribeca kitchen. Originally wanting to establish a full-service restaurant with Mikolasko, the two eventually settled on a retail shop called Twiggy, named after Mikolasko’s mother.

Serving up Chef London’s mouthwatering creations to go, Twiggy serves everything from meatloaf to roasted chicken, glazed roasted salmon, and an assortment of different sandwiches and tarts. With a menu like that, the space has been practically begging for an indoor dining option. Thankfully, now that restrictions are beginning to lift across the city, the Twiggy team is finally able to fully realize their original concept by opening up the rear bar and dining area for full dine-in service.

Twiggy To Go, which currently operates at 279 Church Street, was originally envisioned as a full-service restaurant with its bar and dining room in the back. While they operated an outdoor café, there wasn’t enough space to comfortably seat every guest. Now that they are opening the dining room though, they will be taking down the outdoor café, which is welcome news to certain residents who were concerned about the noise potential of outdoor cafés. In addition to opening the bar and dining room, Twiggy will also be adjusting its operating hours to 8AM – 12AM Sunday Through Thursday, and 8AM – 1AM Friday and Saturday. For further updates, you can follow Twiggy To Go on Instagram to be the first one there when they open their dine-in service.
