Higher Grounds Coffee are working on placing their second cafe at the Terraces at Copley Point in Kearny Mesa. The location will be tucked into a commercial property, serving a variety of neighboring companies like Cox, Kaiser Permanente, and North Island Credit Union.

Established in 2019, by San Diego Chef Tyler Nollenberger, their original coffee cart and lunch station currently serves at the Rady’s Children Hospital site next to Sharp Memorial Hospital.

Higher Grounds serves traditional coffee and espresso drinks, plus fresh pastries, sandwiches, and paninis. They also offer gourmet daily specials from burgers to tacos and hearty soups to keep their hard-working locals well fed.

No word yet on when the second Higher Grounds Cafe will be up and running. For now, follow their Instagram for specials and updates.
