Sacramento-based pizza restaurant Pizza Guys is opening a third Los Angeles location in Santa Fe Springs, located at 12610 Leffingwell Rd.
The new location will move into the former home of Domino’s Pizza at an unknown date. In Los Angeles County, Pizza Guys currently has only one location in Santa Clarita, with another coming to Chatsworth later this year. These two aren’t the only new Pizza Guys coming to California, as the company expects to follow a strong 2021 with even more expansion plans. So far, the brand plans to open 11 more locations within the first half of 2022. CEO Shahpour Nejad is currently searching for franchisees in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas.
“I am tremendously proud of the work that we have done in 2021,” said Nejad in a press release. “Despite it being an unpredictable year, we are looking to open 10-15 new locations throughout the new year. I credit this to our amazing work culture, our determined team, the supportive communities we are part of, and the entire Pizza Guys family.”
Pizza Guys opened four new locations last year, raising their total number of sites to 75 in operation. The company, founded in 1986, has recently emphasized that it would like to focus on franchise growth for the new year. On top of the extensive expansion plans, Pizza Guys also plans to add new automation within their stores to streamline customer orders. One of their yew year’s resolutions is to eliminate confusion and decrease waiting times while improving the customer experience.
“We are all so proud of the work that we have done within the past year,” said Nejad. “From continuing to offer our limited-time menu items to franchise development, our company is poised for growth and ready to expand into new territories. At Pizza Guys, we are looking for community-minded franchisees to help elevate and grow our diverse franchise system.”
