La Taqueria Tijuana are working on introducing their third restaurant to San Diego. Their next spot is headed to Hillcrest, replacing a former Baba’s Chicken on University Avenue and Fourth.
Established in 2019, La Taqueria Tijuana specializes in Tijuana-style street tacos in a fast-casual setting. You can currently find La Taqueria open in National City and Little Italy.
They’re a go-to spot for authentic Mexican food and late night bites like loaded fries and burritos. Their locations are open until Midnight on weekdays and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.
Owner Fernando Montiel is also working on a new Baja-inspired Seafood restaurant coming to Little Italy this year. The new concept will feature elevated ceviche dishes and a raw oyster bar.
