The “Coffeeheads” over at House of Black Coffee, or HOB Coffee, are expanding with a fifth location in the neighborhood of North Park. The coffee roaster recently teased the new spot via Instagram but a permit filing places them on 30th Street in the former Young Hickory coffee house which closed down in January.

The coffee shop currently operates four locations, with two in North County and two in central San Diego. HOB Coffee serves small batch, craft coffee roasted locally in San Diego.

Taking their love of coffee a step beyond snobbery or nerdiness, they carefully source their beans and roast in house to serve the highest quality beverages. On the menu, you’ll find signature espresso drinks, nitro cold brew, herbal teas, plus Matcha and Taro Lattes.

The HOB team is looking forward to a quick turnaround of the Young Hickory space and project their opening for Spring 2022. Keep updated by following their Instagram
