Construction is underway on the latest project from the team that brought us The Switchboard Restaurant in Oceanside. KNVS Bar is moving in next door to The Switchboard and sister business North County Roastery on South Coast Highway.
KNVS Bar announced via social media that they have partnered with locally owned companies Peterson Design & Build, and interior design studio Trippe Interiors.
The project is apparently one of several in the works from Owner Kevin Shin of the Hawaiian-inspired Switchboard Restaurant which opened in 2020. Along with North County Roastery and now KNVS Bar, they are all part of a co-op of eateries alongside the boutique Fin Hotel.
No word just yet on what we can expect from KNVS beyond it being a cocktail bar. The Switchboard is known for their inventive cocktail program so we should be in good hands. There is a rumored food element to the bar but Shin and his team are keeping details close for now.
