Some of the biggest buzz in the Phoenix food scene last week was the arrival of Dave’s Hot Chicken in Arizona, where one of the first stores was announced for Gilbert. Now, What Now Phoenix has received intel that another location is coming next year to 620 W. Osborn Road in midtown Phoenix.
The midtown restaurant will be owned and operated by Elevated Restaurant Group, an affiliate entity of California-based Coast to Coast Commercial. The company has seen great success operating multiple Sonic Drive-In and Jack in the Box restaurants throughout Southern California.
Under Elevated Restaurant Group, they’ve just signed two multi-store development and franchise agreements to expand Dave’s Hot Chicken in the Los Angeles and Phoenix markets. ERG will open 12 Dave’s Hot locations in the Valley, starting with Midtown.
A lease has been signed for Osborne Road, but now they must await permitting and construction on the space. ERG Franchisee Clinton Wesselink tells What Now Phoenix that this location will probably open in at least a year.
