One of Manhattan’s most experienced restaurateurs is gearing up to debut a brand new restaurant in one of Columbus Circle’s most prestigious spaces.

Michael Stillman is the CEO and founder of Quality Branded, formerly Fourth Wall Restaurants. The son of legendary restaurateur and TGI Friday’s founder Alan Stillman, Michael and his father have brought to life some of New York’s most successful concepts like Smith & Wollensky, Maloney & Porcelli, Quality Meats, Park Avenue, and Don Angie. Alongside partners Nathaniel Young, Kevin Dillon, Steven Jolton, and Chef Craig Koketsu, Michael and his team have turned Quality Branded into one of the most important names in New York’s hospitality industry.

Now, Michael and the team are preparing to bring a brand new concept to Columbus Circle. Currently operating under the corporate name Pomodoro on the Park, the team’s new restaurant will be opening up at 10 Columbus Circle, replacing the iconic Landmarc restaurant that formerly occupied the space. Landmarc was the flagship restaurant of celebrity Chef Marc Murphy, who has made numerous appearances on the Food Network and is recognized worldwide as one of the judges on Chopped. Landmarc sadly closed in 2019 after 12 years of successful operation, but thankfully the space will not remain vacant for much longer.

The location is appropriately spacious for the upscale concept the team has planned, and boasts a max capacity of 340 guests. For the menu, Pomodoro will feature elevated Italian dishes like Mediterranean Branzino, Crispy Pork Milanese, Spicy Lobster Rigatoni, and Pistachio Cavatelli with Lemon and Basil. Pomodoro will also serve an eclectic collection of grilled farro pizzas alongside plenty of salads and appetizers.

Michael and the Quality Branded team are currently in the process of acquiring a full liquor license for their new restaurant, and are proposing operating hours of 11:00AM – 12:00 AM, every day seven days a week. While the team is not ready to make any further announcements on their latest project, you can visit their website for more information about all of their popular concepts.
