South Park staple Café Madeleine is looking to bring some Parisian flair to Barrio Logan next. The french coffee shop and restaurant has been added to the brand new mixed-use development, Los Patios, on National Avenue.
Owner Christine Perez opened Café Madeleine in South Park in 2010, then added a North Park outpost in 2016. Their locations serve Illy Coffee, an array of paninis and sandwiches, gourmet quiches, and French specialty dishes like sweet or savory crepes and Croque Monsieur.
A representative of Urban Coast Properties confirms with What Now San Diego that construction is finalizing on Los Patios. They are anticipating the completion of the project by mid-June.
Leasing has begun on their innovative studio apartments featuring loft-style bedrooms, a communal central patio, and colorful balcony spaces.
