Lupe’s Mexican Eatery wants to satisfy the inner food beasts of Orange County residents.

The Mexican restaurant is expanding to a location in Aliso Viejo, according to a recently filed liquor license application.

Owned by Luis Paul Gonzalez, the Mexican chain first opened its doors in 2012 to San Diego residents.

Since then it has expanded to Dana Point, Huntington Beach and Lake Forrest and continues to do so, according to its website.

“We are expanding along the coastal areas of California,” the website states.

The restaurant claims to want to satisfy customers’ “inner food beast,” regardless of whether they’re a “carnivore, Mexican food lover, vegetarian or just hungry.”

The signature plates listed on its website include Chilaquiles with egg, rice, and beans or potatoes, and Huevos Rancheros (a dish of beans and rice or potatoes with tortillas).

The location in Aliso Viejo is on Aliso Creek Rd, near the Aliso Viejo Town Center. Nearby restaurants include Trader Joe’s Smashburger, and Fish District-Aliso Viejo.
