Just For Kix in Berthoud is getting a permanent home. Rehannon Crumb, director of Just For Kix in Berthoud, said they hope to open the dance studio at 947 Mountain Ave. for the 2022-2023 season, which begins the end of August.

In previous seasons, Just For Kix members danced out of Wildfire Arts Center on Massachusetts Ave. and out of the Berthoud Activity Hall on N. 4th St. Crumb said they hope to combine those classes and dance out of their new location in time for the beginning of their 13th season in Berthoud.

“We are just overjoyed that we are going to be able to have a place that we call home. We’ll have our own studio space. The girls will get to use it for all of our events, which I think is going to be really exciting,” Crumb told What Now Denver. “The girls who have been with me have been with me forever, so it’s going to be fun to have our own space.”

Classes start at 12 months to adults. Classes are offered for a variety of dance levels and include jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, and improv classes. “You can be a beginner dancer coming into a class and feel comfortable and confident, and then we also have our competition teams that are able to compete at a higher level and travel around. It’s nice that we can offer all of that for the community,” Crumb shared.

“We’re just feeling really grateful,” Crumb said. “We feel really supported in our community. We get to do community events, and we are welcomed everywhere we go. We feel absolutely blessed by the support of all of the different businesses and entities in our town.”
