One of the city’s most innovative event space companies is getting ready to launch a brand new expansion.

Lavan 541 is a state-of-the art event space that is known for its innovation in the industry and its cutting edge amenities and production capabilities. The brand was established by co-founders Gil Ohana and Liron David, who previously founded Eventique NYC, an award-winning event planning and production company. Widely celebrated for its premium sound and lighting system as well as its 270 degree projection mapping capabilities, Lavan has quickly established itself as the perfect place for corporate conferences, production launches, pop up activations, fashion presentations, social and non profit events, and even photo and film shoots.

While Lavan 541 has been operating quite successfully since launching in 2019, Ohana and David are now getting ready to launch the companies first-ever expansion. Tentatively titled Lavan 641, Lavan’s latest expansion will be arriving at Hells Kitchen at 635 West 42nd Street, between 11th and 12th Avenues. Lavan 641 will be taking over the space from another event planning company, CNVS Events, which closed permanently after shutting down the space during the pandemic. The location is rather spacious for the neighborhood and boasts a total capacity of 460 guests. The location is divided between two spaces, a pre-function space on the ground floor that features two distinct bars, and the main function room, which offers multiple flexible bar setups to accomodate the needs of every guest.

Of course, Lavan 641 will also offer a state-of-the art culinary experience just like Lavan 541 does. Options from a sample menu attached to their liquor license application include sandwich platters, crudite, and a robust variety of hors d’oeuvres like Moroccan lamb meatball, artichoke fries, and yellowtail tacos. Lavan will also offer buffet-style dinner stations with tapas plates, salmon en croute, short rib and potatoes, and cornish hen with French onion soup. For family events, Lavan also boasts an impressive kids menu, offering gourmet meals for kids like beef sliders on brioche buns, “faux mac & cheese”, loaded fries, and even a “kid’s bar” with virgin beverage options like daiquiris, shirley temples, and the “cotton candy mule”.

Of course, there will also be a bold and exciting beverage menu for the adults as well, as Lavan will be offering full open bar service to all clients who request it. There will also be plenty of fun dessert options like molten chocolate souffle and milkshake “shots”, as well as build-your-own crepe and fondue stations. Lavan also offers a unique fruit carving station and to-go candy options. At the moment, Ohana and David are currently getting ready to meet with the community board to acquire a full liquor license for the space, and they are proposing operating hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM every day, seven days a week.
