Sushi icon Sugar Fish is on the way to Corona Del Mar. A new outpost of the Sushi Nozawa group concept is coming to 2600 E Coast Highway in late 2023.

This will be the first Orange County location of the concept that has become a mainstay in both the Los Angeles and New York markets, with fifteen outposts currently in operation. The Beverly Hills location also features Nozawa Bar, a high-end omakase dining experience, in the back. They also operate KazuNori handroll bar.

Known for their more accessible omakase style service and high-quality fish, Sugar Fish offers four different “trust me” menus that range from about $20 to around $60. For diners inclined not to trust, sushi, sashimi, and hand rolls can also be ordered by the piece.

Sugar Fish was founded in 2008 when sushi chef Kazunori Nozawa, of Studio City’s famed Sushi Nozawa, partner with Jerry A. Greenberg.
