Dosa Studio is in the works in Sorrento Valley, joining its sister business Charminar Indian Restaurant. According to a recent permit filing, the restaurant will replace Gazua Sushi alongside The Food Court at Plaza Sorrento.
San Diego Magazine first reported Dosa Studio is the next concept by Charminar founders Syed Afzal and Abdul Basith. Charminar Indian Restaurant features classic family recipes, aromatic biryanis, and tandoori kebabs.
While little is known about the menu at Dosa Studio, their social media labels the new spot a pure vegetarian restaurant and catering company “serving the yummiest dosas in town.” Dosas are an Indian crepe, served with various fillings.
