The Forum Carlsbad, an outdoor lifestyle shopping center in Carlsbad operated by Northwood Retail, is thrilled to welcome a new concept, Kaiseki Sushi, to its retail lineup. The restaurant, which is the latest addition to the Wild Thyme Restaurant Group’s portfolio, will open its door Thursday, March 17.

This new Japanese-inspired restaurant promises to offer guests a unique dining experience featuring creations by Master Sushi Chef Tin Nguyen and Nobu’s former sushi chef, Chef Jon Kim. Nguyen has honed his skills at some of the finest restaurants in Southern California, including Wild Thyme’s very own Shorebird Coastal Eatery in Newport Beach.

“We are thrilled to bring this new concept to life and introduce our guests to the exceptional talent of Chef Tin Nguyen,” said Heinrich Stasiuk, founder of Wild Thyme Restaurant Group in a statement. “Our menu will feature a diverse selection of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese-inspired dishes, each expertly crafted with the freshest ingredients and a touch of culinary flair.”

The restaurant’s contemporary design, paired with its innovative menu promises to offer a memorable dining experience where every detail has been carefully considered to ensure that guests enjoy the eclectic flavors Kaiseki will produce.

Wild Thyme Restaurant Group has been entrenched in the dining industry for some time with concepts spanning the southwest and beyond. The group currently touts over 15 concepts including Kai Modern Japanese Bistro in Huntington Beach, Bear Moon Bar & Grille in South Lake Tahoe, Molé Cuisine in Palm Beach and Sedona, Arizona, Spoke & Wheel in Sedona and more.
