Soon after opening its College Park location, Pizza Bruno is making new moves, headed for a Maitland location, according to a recent report in Orlando Weekly. The restaurant will be located within the Maitland Social at 360 E Horatio Ave, sharing the space with other tenants, yet to be determined.

“We’re going to have wood-fired pizza, just like the original,” owner Bruno Zacchini tells What Now Orlando. “Other than that, it’s all up in the air. We’re going to try to do some new stuff, try some new cooking methods.”

When asked about his rationale behind choosing Maitland, Zacchini points to good luck and a good deal.

“Honestly, it just kind of happened to fall in our laps. It was a good space, we liked the metrics and the deal. So, that’s why we did it. I had a feeling we were going to open a new Pizza Bruno soon after our College Park location.”

Describing the use of space, Zacchini highlights there will both outdoor and indoor seating.

“The outdoors will be a shared patio. It will have seating but I don’t know how much since it’s shared with the other tenants. I have no idea how many seats will be in the interior, but we’re working to see how much we can get in there and keep it comfortable.”

And when can readers expect this exciting new development to be up and running?

“Our hope is early 2024.”
