Snooze, An Am Eatery, the growing Denver-based breakfast and brunch diner, will soon begin construction in Kyle, according to recent public records. The establishment will be located at 5140 S FM 1626, within Suite 120, near Casa Garcia’s and Whataburger, just west of I-35.

Defining their mission statement on their official website, the brand shares “At Snooze, we want each morning to feel like your weekend and happy hour rolled into one — no matter which side of noon it’s on. We’re the place where you can be you, and where our regulars are anything but.”

“Everyone’s welcome at our table, because the same goes for our people as it does for our dishes: the unexpected twists are what makes them so special.”

Readers unfamiliar with the brand can expect a classic diner menu of pancakes, benedicts, tacos, and egg dishes such as scrambles and omelettes.

What Now Austin reached out to CEO David Birzon to inquire about this exciting new development in the Central Texas food and beverage landscape, but he was not immediately available for comment.

Fortunately, public records examined by What Now Austin provide key information — “Tenant improvement in a first generation vacant shell building. scope of work is limited to an existing roughly 4,000 sf suite. Modifications will include a build out of a new breakfast eatery with an outdoor patio,” the construction summary states. Construction is slated to begin this fall with an estimated bill of around $850,000. The project is expected to reach completion in the first quarter of 2024.
